Alpine Mining SA, which shall be here forth referred to as the service provider, is a company operating under Swiss law whose head office is located in Gondo (VS). Its activities consist of all services in the field of mining for the creation of cryptographic currencies, including the sale of hardware and services related to these types of activities as well as services in the field of Blockchain verification.
The following general terms and conditions dictate the rights and obligations of the service provider and the client, as part of an exchange of services consisting essentially of the provision of units (MH /s) of computing power for the purpose of producing crypto-currencies to the benefit of the client, for
a certain period of time and in exchange of payment for a predetermined price and agreed upon in advance by the two parties.
The prices of available services, the computing power, the choice of cryptocurrency, the frequency of withdrawals, and the duration of the contract are all outlined in the offers available on the service provider’s website (https://alpinemining.ch), and must be accepted by the client. These offers are available for a limited time or until the power capacity is spent. The general terms and conditions are an integral part of the contract. By agreeing to them, the client confirms that they fully understand and accept these terms without any reservations.
In case of litigation or conflict of interpretation, the French version of the General Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.
Cryptocurrency or cryptographic currency: means of exchange of digital values and a financial instrument considered to be an alternative currency. The creation and conducting of transactions using cryptocurrencies are secured thanks to Blockchain technology.
Blockchain: technology that facilitates the storage and communication of information that is transparent, secure and functions without a centralised control apparatus.
Mining: description of the cryptographic currency creation process using the services and facilities of Alpine Mining SA.
Rigs: structure that enables cryptographic currency mining, consisting mainly of several graphic cards and specialised circuits related to mining software.
Ethereum / Zcash / Monero: crypto-currencies generated through mining activity by means of the service provider’s facilities. The service provider’s facilities also allow other cryptocurrencies to be mined.
Computing power or hashrate: refers to the speed, measured in H/s, MH/s or GH/s, at which the rigs carry out mining activity
GPU: abbreviation of „graphics processing unit“, refers to a graphic card.
Electronic wallet: an application that allows crypto-currency users to store and exchange their digital assets.
The service provider pledges to utilise computing power and to mine cryptocurrencies for the benefit of the client.
Within this framework, the main services offered by Alpine Mining SA are:
The price of the service is described in the offer available on the website of the service provider, which must be accepted by the client. The price indicated on the published offers does not include the cost of electricity, which is taken off separately in crypto currency each time a withdrawn is made to the client.
The payment is due as soon as the customer confirms his acceptance of the offer.
The prices displayed in the offers on the service provider’s website include taxes.
When applicable, Swiss VAT is billed at the rate of the accounting year in question. The invoice is issued as soon as the client confirms his acceptance of the offer available on the website of the service provider.
The contract enters into force as soon as the customer confirms his acceptance of the offer available on the website of the service provider.
The customer will only benefit from the services after full payment of the agreed price.
The agreed duration of mining services begins after an installation phase of up to a maximum period of six weeks after receipt of the full payment of the relevant price.
The contract ends automatically at the end of the mining period agreed in the offer.
The service provider exercises due diligence in the performance of his services.
The service provider certifies to hold all administrative authorizations required for his activities.
The service provider certifies that he has an insurance policy covering his professional liability.
Subject to the cases of liability exemption set out below, the service provider guarantees the withdrawal of the cryptocurrencies at the frequency agreed upon in the offer accepted by the client.
The service provider is not liable for any damage in the event of force majeure, particularly in the event of natural disasters, war, epidemics, fires, failure or involuntary interruption of the electrical and communication networks, acts of government against crypto-currencies or against financial markets, involuntary withdrawals of administrative authorisations, disturbances or failures in the cryptocurrency market or economic crises, or any other event beyond the control of the provider.
Alpine Mining SA is not liable for any damage if a problem occurs on a Blockchain that is beyond the control of the service provider, that may result in the interruption of mining of the cryptocurrency under the accepted terms and conditions.
The service provider commits to mine the cryptocurrencies that are the most profitable, amongst those that can be generated by its infrastructure. Due to the extreme volatility of cryptocurrency markets, the service provider is not able to guarantee any specific profit margins. Only the amount of computing power agreed with the client is guaranteed by the service provider, subject to the aforementioned cases of force majeure.
Furthermore, the service provider is only liable in case of gross negligence or fraud.
The service provider collects the personal data provided by the client for the purpose of processing the computing power utilisation request. The data, information and other documents transmitted by the customer are treated confidentially and appropriate security measures are taken to prevent unauthorized third parties from having access to such data.
All data transmitted is processed in accordance with the legislation in force, in particular under the Data Protection Act (LPD).
By accepting the terms and conditions, the client agrees to voluntarily transmit their personal data (name, address, email address, identity documents, etc.), authorizes the service provider to treat them in accordance with the stated purpose and to specifically undertake all administrative procedures necessary for the monitoring and proper functioning of the data collection.
The personal data of the customer is in no way used for advertising purposes or sold to / shared with third parties for any such purposes.
The customer agrees that their data, information and other documents provided are kept by the service provider, even after the end of the contract, in order to satisfy any request from the state authorities or any legal obligation. The customer explicitly authorizes the service provider to transfer its data to the state authorities at their behest.
The contract is governed by Swiss law.
In the event of a dispute in the context of this contract, the parties agree to elect an exclusive place of jurisdiction in Sion, in the canton of Walliser.

By ticking the box, the customer confirms his / her acceptance of the corresponding offer as well as the general terms and conditions above which are an integral part of the contract.
Once the acceptance of the offer and the registration form reaches Alpine Mining SA, the customer receives a confirmation email containing the banking information that allows them to pay the amount that is due.
Please remember that the offers are pre-sales in the sense that the mining services do not begin until a period of 3 to 5 weeks from the end of the period of presale, which will end on March 4, 2018.
At the end of this period, Alpine Mining SA sets the customer’s personal wallet address. From this moment, the wallet of the customer is powered by the corresponding cryptocurrency, at a frequency of three times per month and according to the computing power allocated to it.
The customer is required to complete the registration form attached with true and complete information. He is solely responsible for the information he communicates to Alpine Mining SA, in particular regarding the accuracy of his wallet’s address and his ability to be credited by the type of cryptocurrency chosen in the offer.
By signing this contract, the customer acknowledges having accepted the terms of the chosen offer, and confirms that he / she has read, understood and accepted the general terms and conditions without reservation.
